ITS ALL STEAM AHEAD ON NORWEGIAN JEWEL

Rest and relaxation are top priority for most on holiday and nowhere is this more evident than onboard Norwegian Jewel, the latest luxury cruise ship to join the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet.

As the soothing effects of the sea ensure you forget all about the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the Bora Bora Spa onboard takes relaxation that one step further.

The spa’s 19 treatment rooms are a haven of peace and tranquillity. The spa, which is operated by Mandara Spa, has 14 therapists on hand to administer a range of therapies and massages as well as three hairstylists, two fitness therapists and a nail technician.

The treatments available to guests range from hotstone massages, La Therapy Oxygen Lifting Facials and Aroma Spa Seaweed Wraps to manicures, pedicures, Hydratone baths and Rasul treatment. There is also a full service hair salon and barber on board. The treatments range in price starting from $28.

Treatments in the spa make use of some of the world’s best know product brands, giving the spa its unique atmosphere and scent, with Elemis and La Therapy used for the therapies and Altrena in the hair salon. All the therapists have received in-depth training having completed the Steiner Training Academy in London for Elemis and La Therapy to ensure they reach the quality required for those administering treatments using these branded products.
Lisa Gueorguiev, Spa manager on Norwegian Jewel, comments: “We have worked tirelessly to ensure that we meet and exceed the exacting standards expected from the spa industry and to ensure they match those upheld by the NCL brand. It is a unique experience visiting a spa at sea and adds a further element of rest and relaxation to any holiday.”
