THAT'S THE SPIRIT!
NCL to make unique Bermuda calls with 2 ships London, 9th December 2005 : NCL today announced that Norwegian Spirit will be joining Norwegian Dawn year-round in New York and calling in at Bermuda for the 2006 summer season. From May to September 2006, NCL will be uniquely able to offer a day-long stop in Bermuda from Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Spirit as well as an overnight stop in St Thomas (US Virgin Islands) and a call into Tortola (British Virgin Islands). Norwegian Spirit will be deployed in New York year-round from 18 November 2005. The ship joins the trailblazing Norwegian Dawn in committing itself to New York itineraries to the Caribbean. In 2003 NCL was the first company to have a ship cruising year-round out of New York and the latest announcement cements that innovation. Norwegian Spirit features 8 restaurants, 11 bars and lounges, a state-of-the-art spa and fitness facility, a pirate-themed activity complex for kids, a teen centre, basketball court, golf driving net, casino and conference centre amongst its many amenities.
