NCL Freestyle Cruising® Alaska 2008 cruise programme now on sale |
NCL leads in with prices from just £1329 for 7 night Alaskan Fly Cruise |
London, 8 June 2007… The NCL Freestyle Cruising Alaska 2008 cruise programme is now on sale and guests can book next year’s cruise holiday today. The announcement comes just a few weeks ahead of the launch of NCL’s 2008-2009 Cruise & Stay brochure – the company’s biggest ever UK brochure.
NCL is billing its Alaska 2008 programme as the ‘Greatest Show on Ice’ and demonstrating its commitment to the region with three big, contemporary ships, all purpose built for NCL Freestyle Cruising, and a choice of five comprehensive itineraries. Highlights of the programme include:
• Alaskan Vistas & Vancouver – 9 night fly-cruise aboard Norwegian Sun from only £1329pp for an inside stateroom, £1549pp oceanview and £1699pp oceanview with balcony.
• Alaskan Seas & Glacier Bay – 9 night fly-cruise aboard Norwegian Pearl from only £1329pp inside, £1549pp oceanview and £1699pp oceanview with balcony.
• Alaska & the Rockies – 13 night cruise & tour taking in the best of Alaska aboard Norwegian Sun and a 5 night tour high into the Canadian Rockies from only £1649pp inside, £1849pp oceanview and £1999pp oceanview with balcony.
All itineraries are designed to give guests the best possible Alaskan experience, an up-close view of the amazing mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, forests and wildlife. Exciting shore excursions take guests on adventures like salmon fishing, dog sledding over a glacier, helicopter sightseeing, whale watching or travelling on a vintage railway over tracks laid down in the Gold Rush.
In keeping with NCL’s policy of offering guests more of a holiday, there are opportunities to extend their stay in must-see cities such as Las Vegas, Seattle or Vancouver. They can even add on a self-drive tour of the Canadian Rockies or the Rocky Mountaineer® train and coach tour from Vancouver to Banff.
“We are delighted to get our Alaska 2008 cruises on sale, as booking early brings guests lots of advantages, like the best choice of itineraries, the departure date they prefer and, of course, the stateroom that they want – and with all that amazing scenery, balcony staterooms are in big demand,” says Francis Riley, General Manager of NCL UK. “And the great thing about NCL Freestyle Cruising with our dine when you like, where you like policy is that guests experience Alaska their way. There’s no hurrying back from a great adventure ashore just because you’re on first sitting dinner and like we say at NCL, we’d rather our guests watch the wildlife, than watch the clock.”
