NCL Announces Norwegian Epic’s Transatlantic Crossing

London, 15 September 2009… NCL Freestyle Cruising announced today that Norwegian Epic, the company’s largest and most innovative ship to date, will make her inaugural transatlantic seven-night cruise on 24 June 2010, departing from Southampton. The 4,200 passenger ship will arrive in New York, her first port of call in the United States, on 01 July 2010.

In addition, NCL also announced that a new seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise has been added to Norwegian Epic’s inaugural season, departing Miami on 10 July 2010, one week earlier than previously scheduled.

After an unprecedented response to a waitlist for Norwegian Epic’s transatlantic sailing, NCL will give those guests who registered first priority to confirm their booking. A special guest services team will be contacting them so they can choose from Norwegian Epic’s wide range of accommodation, from the innovative new Studios to the largest suite and villa complex at sea. The cruise will available for all bookings from Thursday 17 September 2009.

Prices for the transatlantic cruise start from £1019pp* (fly-cruise) or £469pp* (cruise-only) per person, subject to availability and based on two sharing. Price includes seven nights Freestyle Cruising aboard Norwegian Epic, all meals and entertainment aboard ship, government fees & taxes, economy scheduled return flights to London (if applicable), all overseas transfers between airport, pier and hotel and day-room hotel accommodation post-cruise (room only).
