Enjoy a Freestyle Christmas at sea with NCL

London, 26 October 2009… NCL Freestyle Cruising is giving guests the chance to take their festive celebrations to sea with a choice of 15 sailings this Christmas and New Year.

With seasonal cruises across Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii, South America, Mexican Riviera and the Panama Canal, guests can take their pick from a wide range of warming winter escapes.

NCL goes all out on festivities so ships are decorated throughout and offer interactive holiday shows, on-board carols and Christmas Eve services - and on Christmas Day itself, guests can indulge in a holiday-themed menu, which includes dishes such as roasted turkey with apple and apricot stuffing, honey-glazed Black Forest ham with sweet potato mash, pumpkin soufflé and a pear and chestnut torte.

The captain brings in the New Year with a special countdown from the bridge, and following a decadent dinner, guests can kick start 2010 with some of the most electric parties at sea, including NCL’s White Hot Party and Monte Carlo Night.

Families looking to cruise can take advantage of NCL’s inter-connecting staterooms which offer a greater and more flexible space. Childcare facilities are also available on board meaning parents can relax knowing their kids are having just as much fun as they are, and with a choice of up to 14 dining options, Vegas and Broadway-style shows, bowling, Nintendo Wii and so much more, there is something to keep everyone occupied.
